Carlos Gómez Carro
Mexico City, Mexico (1955). He is a professor at the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Azcapotzalco Unit. He holds a degree in Humanities from the UAM Iztapalapa and a Master’s degree in Humanities from the Tec de Monterrey. He has published essays and fiction in various periodicals such as Langosta Literaria, La Jornada Semanal, Casa del Tiempo, Fuentes Humanísticas, Tema y Variaciones de Literatura, and others. He is the author of Elogio al oficio. 13 carteles de poesía (UAM, 2013); El preciado páramo de Rulfo (Cisnegro, 2018); Bestiarios. Silva de varia invención (UAM, 2021); the novel Los existenciarios (UAM, 2022); and the poetry collection Cercana lejanía (Autarca, 2022).
